A Celebration of Life for Estella Leaphart, 90, of Decatur will be Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Moulton Heights Church of Christ with Harold Gilmore officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Leaphart, who passed away September 14, 2015, was born on August 21, 1925 to Tommie Lynch and Maple Irvin Lynch. She was a member of Moulton Heights Church of Christ for 14 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis Leaphart; four sisters; niece, Rosetta Elliott ( Gary) and nephew, Bobby Ray Jones ( Charlotte).
She is survived by her sister, Addie Mae Jackson; nieces, Patricia Davis (Cecil), Demetra Strong (Barry), Maple Bumpus, Ann Johnson, Estella Johnson, Della Johnson and Faye Johnson; nephews, Bobby Ray Johnson, Emmett Johnson, Leroy McFee, Michael Jones (Carla), Melvin Jones, James Curtis Jones and Wayne Jones; host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Flower Girls will be Darlene Jones, Keisha Pointer, Perrion Jones, Rosetta Jones and Mercedes Jones.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
