Esslie C. Oliver “Stove Pipe”, age 83, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma- Harton Hospital in Tullahoma. He was born in Cowan, Tennessee, on April 1, 1941, to the late Dossie and Laura Martin Oliver. Esslie was a handyman, and always enjoyed working on various things. He was an avid wrestling fan, and loved to dance, and loved to watch reality tv and was always keeping everyone up to date on the shows. Esslie had an outgoing personality which led him to never meet a stranger. He was always happy and just a joy to be around. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his twin brother, Suge Oliver. He is survived by one son, Mark Biddles; one daughter; seven grandchildren; nieces, Sharon McGee and Queenie Vonay; cousins, Windy Hill (Jonathan), Stephanie Perkins, Nathaniel Perkins, Patrick Perkins (Nikki), and Adrianna Perkins; and several surviving family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Watson Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Repass will be Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Cowan following visitation at the funeral home.

The family greatly appreciates the exceptional care and compassion that Renae Hill provided to Mr. Oliver.
