Essie Middlebrooks McGaughy, at the age of 73, met her Lord and Savior from NMMC-Tupelo on Saturday, June 27, 2026. She was the widow of Willie Fred McGaughy who died in 2015. She leaves behind her children and her siblings and their families who lovingly cared for her in her last illness.
A service celebrating her life will be held at Living Word and Praise Church, 4728 Roebuck Road, Tupelo, Ms. (Bissell Community) on Friday July 3, 2026 at 2 PM. Visitation will be from Noon-service time on Friday from Noon-service time. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to be serving the family and will post a full obituary by Wednesday.
