A Funeral service for Essie Fay McCollum, 85, will be Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Clyde Ledlow officiating. Burial will be in Roswell Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.
Ms. McCollum died on Monday, May 6, 2019. She was born May 6, 1934, in Clay County to Orbie Humphrey and Lela Kemp Humphrey. She was a housewife and mother and formerly was employed by Smith’s Florist in Hartselle. Preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter: Ruby Ann Jones, four brothers: Leroy, Elton Lee, Melvin and David Anthony Humphrey and two sisters:Vena Mae Widner and Mary Elizabeth Voyles.
