Funeral service for Esmer Lee “Banks” Anders, 80, will be Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in McKendree Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Anders died on Friday, May 16, 2014 at his residence. He was born December 27, 1933, in Morgan County to Hillard L. Anders and Mattie MaryLee Curtis Anders. He was formerly employed as a self employed mechanic. He greatly loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Esmer Lee Anders, Jr., a brother: John Nathan Anders, and a sister: Olivia Anders Parker.
