Funeral services for Mr. Ernest Pritchard, age 89, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2021, in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery in Darden.
Mr. Pritchard passed away on Friday, August 27, in Parsons. Born July 29, 1932, in Gadsden, Tennessee, to the late Ernest Frank and Elsie Mae Battles Pritchard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons: Ernest L. Pritchard, Jr., and Ron Pritchard. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mary Pritchard; two sons: Timothy Pritchard (Pat), Daniel Pritchard (Marian); four daughters: Deborah Pritchard (Kat), Bonnie Miller (Jim), Kimberly Markgraf (Scott), Carolyn Pritchard (Phill); three brothers: Johnny Pritchard, Dale Pritchard, and J.D. Pritchard (Kay); two sisters: Dorothy Abbott and Mary Ann Amoine (George); sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 29, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., and on Monday, from 12:00 p.m. until time for the service.
