Ernest Lee Matthews went home to be with the Lord September 22, 2022. He was surrounded by his family. He is survived by his Mother Florence Clements, Daughters Michelle (Keith) Morris, Heather (Robbie) Kyzar, The Mother of his daughters Goldie Matthews, Sister’s Lillian (Ray) Mcgeehee, Lisa (Darryl) Bohannon, Donna Reed, Judy Young and Sue (Kermit) Higgins brother Paul (Cynthia) Clement’s business partner and “brother” Billy Wayne (Pam) Gullatt. Grandchildren, Kimberlee Morris,
Elijah Kyzar, Angel Kyzar, Great grandchildren Autumn Morris, Amora Clark
Alexander Neeley and Luna Kyzar. Special friend Heather Johnson. Several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his Father Robert Lee Matthews, sister Stella Gullatt
Brother RB Matthews, Stepfather Andrew Clements. Several aunts, uncles, niece nephews and cousins and best friend Charles Wininger.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 5 – 8 P.M. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 2:00 P.M., in the Chapel at Rudder Funeral Home, Scottsboro, with Bro. Steve Winninger officiating. Interment will be at Box’s Cove Cemetery.
