Ernest Kenneth Thigpen Sr., age 81, passed away on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, from Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence, Alabama.
Mr. Thigpen is survived by his son, Ernest Kenneth (Angela) Thigpen Jr., Canton, Georgia; sister; Redith Bee, Florence, Alabama; two grandchildren, Alicia and Bryant Thigpen; and several nieces and nephews.
