Mr. Ernest Hugh Sexton age 81, of Hartselle Died Friday April 5, 2013. His funeral service will be Monday April 8, 2013 at 1:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Bass officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sunday April 7, 2013 from 6:00-8:00pm at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Sexton was born July 5, 1931 to James Newton Sexton and Ada Suzie (Wilbanks) Sexton. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Gerald Sexton and one Grandchild James Ryan McCaghren. He is survived by his wife Martha Jane Sexton of Hartselle. 1 Son Mark Sexton(Kim) of Birmingham 1 Daughter Debra McCaghren(David) of Hartselle 2 Brothers Neal Sexton and Colon Sexton both of Mississippi. 1 Grandchild Audrey McCaghren. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mr. Sexton was a retired machine operator for Monsanto. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean war. After his retirement he was a delivery driver for Advanced Auto Parts. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Wounded Warriors Project.com.
