Ernest Hartwell “Wet Willie” Williams, Jr., 60, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Polly Williams; sisters, June Nelson, and Francis Green.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Williams and husband, Brian Cranfill; granddaughter, Rachel Combs; sisters, Dorothy Patterson (Lenis), Laura Pace (Harold) all of Florence; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and more friends that he could count.
To all of those who knew him, Willie was definitely “One of a Kind”, and a storyteller extraordinaire.
A special thanks to all of his old and new friends for always being there for him.
