Funeral for Ernest E. West, 80, of Decatur will be on Wednesday September 4, 2024 with a visitation starting at 12:30 PM and a funeral service atĀ 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Brown-Service funeral home chapel with Rev. Greg Aldridge officiating and the burial at Johnsons Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. West was born on December 29, 1943 in Morgan county to Emmett and Lula Mae West heĀ passed away on August 29, 2024 at his residence after a brief illness. He was a member of Deer Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife over 53 years Eloise West, a son Brian West; two daughters Jackie Griffith and husband John; Annette Mason. Six Grandchildren, and Eight Great Grandchildren. A brother L.E. West and a sister Nadine Reid.
