Erma Ruth Greer, age 88 of Boaz passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Boaz Carr Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Belchers Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Wayne White will officiate her service. Pallbearers will be Jason Lauderdale, Johnny Lay, Brenden Lauderdale, Wilder McWaters, Jesse Greer and Jacob Tolbert. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 before the service.
She is survived by her son; Marty Greer, grandchildren; Jeremy Yother, Jesse Greer (Elizabeth), Ashley Lauderdale (Jason), Priscilla Banks (Matthew), Cody Lemley (Jessica) and Luke Parker, a number of great-grandchildren and her sisters; Margaret Merritt (Skip) and Deborah Lay (John).
She is preceded in death by her husband; Billy Ray Greer, daughters; Tina Robin Greer Merritt, Melody Greer and Connie Parker, parents; H. B. and Dola Mae Naylor and brother; James Naylor.
