Erlene Lusk Morrison, 83, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Born and raised in Lincoln Village in Huntsville, Mrs. Morrison graduated from Lincoln High School in 1949. She was a loving homemaker all of her life. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren loved to come to her house to receive their treats, hugs and kisses. She was a devoted and selfless mother to her three very fortunate daughters.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years. C. E. Morrison; daughters, Brenda Kerley (Ken), Carl Kerstiens (Stan), and Sharon Jones (Bill), all of Huntsville; sister, Frances Putman of Huntsville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Lusk and parents, Horace and Nanny Preston Lusk.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Keith Miller officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clearview Cancer Institute in honor of Dr. Jeremy Hon.
