It is with regret that we announce the passing of Ms. Erin Michelle Petty, age 31, of Kelso, TN. She was born on January 29, 1988 in Huntsville, AL to Jerry Eugene Petty and Mona Gayle Light Petty. Ms. Petty passed away on February 9, 2019. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time by Higgins Funeral Home.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Heather Petty of Kelso, TN; special nieces, Kiana and Alyssa Petty; maternal grandparents, Delano and Betty Light of Kelso, TN; aunts and uncles, Thomas (Carolyn) Petty of Scottsboro, AL, Lawrence Petty of Gurley, AL, Steve (Gina) Petty of Hazel Green, AL, Elaine Cash of Hazel Green, AL, Renee (Rickey) Price of Kelso, TN, and Becky (Keith) Christa of Kelso, TN; great-aunt, Marie Towery of Huntsville, AL; and numerous loving cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mattie Petty; aunts, Jean Elmore and Lynn Wright,; and uncle, William “Sonny” Allen Petty.
