Erika Dyar, aged 81, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 10, 2023.
Erika was born in Lenggries Bavaria Germany on January 16, 1942 and grew up in post WW2 Germany. She met and married US soldier, Gary Dyar in 1960. She later lived in many places across the world until they retired to Boaz Alabama in 1976.
Erika is survived by her sons, Michael Dyar of Boaz, Richard Dyar of Hoover, grandson Dakota Dyar of Ashville, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Dyar and her son Clyde Dyar.
Erika requested a private celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to Mt Hebron Baptist Church in Boaz Alabama or a charity of your choice.
