Eric Jackson Griffin, age 43, passed away on February 20, 2025. He was a long-time resident of Hazel Green, AL where he shared his life with fiancé, Robyn Speegle.
Friends and family have described him as charming, charismatic, handsome, and highly intelligent. He was often the life of the party, but he was also incredibly generous with his time offering a helping hand to other people. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, rocking out to his music, and spending time at the beach, especially in Fort Morgan, AL where he grew up spending time with his sister and cousins at their family beach house. Once grown, he still visited the beach regularly with his children, where they built cherished memories. He graduated from Sparkman HS and attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. He owned a successful computer repair business for many years. He will be remembered for his big smile and great sense of humor.
He leaves behind three children, Bradley Forester of Huntsville, AL, Skylin Griffin of Gulf Shores, AL, and Jackson Griffin of Gulf Shores, AL; his father and stepmother, Mark and Tina Griffin of Elberta, AL; his mother, Lilla Gayle Garner of Huntsville, AL; his sister, Anna Griffin of Austin, Texas; his brother, Thomas Garner of Huntsville, AL; and his step sister and brother, Shelby and Alex Buckner of Elberta, AL. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Kelsey Griffin, Carolyn Griffin, and Dr. and Mrs. Jack Garner.
