Eric Christopher May, age 25 of Winchester, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at STRHS-Winchester. He was born August 5, 1996 in Columbia, MO to Steven May and Linda Ross. He had been employed at Burger King, McDonald’s, KFC and Dollar General but was currently employed at Krystal. He attended Monteagle Cumberland Presbyterian Church with his mom and Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church with his dad. Eric loved life and was always singing and dancing. He especially enjoyed the music from the movie “Mama Mia”. He loved hot air balloons and decorating for all the holidays with Halloween being his favorite. A true animal lover, he always enjoyed visiting the zoo and playing with the puppies at the Animals Angel Rescue. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Donna May; maternal grandfather, Eugene Berg; and companion, Kayla Joyce Summers. He is survived by his mother, Linda Ross of Coalmont; father, Steven May of Winchester; siblings, Catherine Ross, Kasey (Matt) Majors, Carolyn Ross, Claressa (Jimmy) Carmack, Kelvin (Heather) May, David May and Laurie May; maternal grandmother, Carol Depew of Coalmont; uncles and aunts, Joe and Sandy May, Amber (Lyle), Irene, Judy and Gena (Wendell); host of nieces and nephews; and family friends, Vicki and Larry.
