Mrs. Era Cantrell Bowers, 80 of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026, at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Bowers was born on October 7th, 1945, in Tallassee, Alabama, to Carl Warner Cantrell and Learline Orr Cantrell.
Mrs. Bowers is survived by her son Stephen Bowers, of Nashville, Tennessee; sister Eva Powell, of Berryville, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will be handling the local arrangements.
