 Enzena McCulley MullinsMrs. Enzena McCulley Mullins, age 94 of Sparta, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Mullins was born August 19, 1924 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late William & Eula Fay Farley McCulley. Mrs. Mullins was a supportive loving wife for 70 years, and a sweet caring mother and grandmother. As a child of the depression, Mrs. Mullins learned to do a lot with a little, to be a great homemaker, a wonderful cook and a skilled gardener. Mrs. Mullins and her husband Houston loved to travel and she kept detailed daily journals of all the places they visited. Mrs. Mullins was a good friend and neighbor, always ready to provide a meal or lend a hand. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband John Houston Mullins; siblings Margie Nabors, Benton McCulley, Clifford McCulley, Rowena Bray, Wilford McCulley, Lee McCulley and Loyd McCulley.

Surviving family include her daughters: Joanne (Tony) Pogue of Columbia, TN,
Janette Myers of Gallatin and Betty (Jim) Thurman of Tullahoma; Son: John (Brenda) Mullins of Cookeville; Granddaughter: Christie Pogue of Franklin; Grandson: Matt (Allison) Thurman of Fayetteville, TN; Great-granddaughter: Julie Thurman of Fayetteville, TN

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Thomas McCulley will officiate.

James David Nabors, Gary McCulley, Jimmy McCulley, David McCulley, Robert Keith McCulley and Bryan McCulley will serve as pallbearers.

Williams Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
