A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Emogene (Jean) B. Wilson, 98, will be Friday, March 29, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Hartselle Memory Gardens with Dr. Charles Owens officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.
Mrs. Wilson passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born December 20, 1925, in Etowah County, to Preston Baswell and Willie Perkins Baswell.
She was employed by the University of Alabama in Birmingham as an Administrative Assistant for the Chief Medical Residence Office, prior to her retirement. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Somerville, Alabama and served as the Church Pianist at Cherry Street Baptist in Attalla, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Two Great Great Grandchildren
