Emma Mae “Jodie” McCreary, 74, of Tuscumbia, but resided in Columbia, Tenn., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at Morrison Funeral Home’s chapel. Interment will follow in Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery.
Jodie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A.H. McCreary and Ruby Peden; and her son, Kenny Roden.
She is survived by her son, David Creamer; her daughters, JoAnn Creamer (David Smith) and Karen Barber (Evelio Cunningham); her brother, Howard McCreary and wife, Judy; grandchildren, Steely Barnes (Drew Collins), Jesse Hunt (Ashley Rupp) and Samantha Hunt (Nick Riley); and great-grandchildren, Haven Cobb, Skylar Cobb, Gage Collins, Sophia Newland and one on the way, Wyatt Hunt.
