Emma Lou Fourroux – Obituary

Emma Lou Fourroux, 87, of Madison, passed away Monday.  Mrs. Fourroux was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, George E. Fourroux, Sr. and a son, Michael Fourroux.  She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Fourroux loved to sew and took pride in her handmade quilts.  She was an avid Alabama football and Atlanta Braves baseball fan.  Family and friends are welcome to wear their Bama gear or colors.

Survivors include daughters, Donna Moore (Randy) of Harvest; Debra Staples (Mike) of Royse City, TX; sons, Marvin Fourroux (Lisa) of Orange Beach, Paul Fourroux of Rainsville, and George Fourroux, Jr. (Joey) of Huntsville; sisters, Annette Lawley of Birmingham, Mona Dale Thrasher of Woodstock, and Bobbie Jean Goodwin of Huntsville; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Faith Memorial Garden with Rev. Brian Fourroux officiating.  Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
