Mrs. Emma King Cousins, 80, of Arab, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Hospice Family Care of Huntsville.
Mrs. Cousins was born on January 9, 1939 to James Henry King & Lottie Ruth Bunch King in Marshall County. She was the Vice President of Diversified Electronics in Morgan City. She had a wide range in interest that included crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, sewing, crafts, and loved watching birds.
Mrs. Cousins was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Cousins is survived by her husband of 30+ years, Mr. Philip Stanley Cousins; son, Steven Spencer (Kathryn); daughters, Billie Jean Spencer, Karen Ann Clark (Doug), Donna Sue Thornton (Randy); stepson, Scott Cousins; stepdaughter, Christy Pratt (Tim); brothers, Bob King, David King, Danny Glass; sisters, Lottie Sue Saraceno (Phillip); 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, James Henry King & Lottie Ruth Bunch King; brother, James Hugh King; sisters, Peggy Martin, Diane Bearden.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with David Norton & Chris Herbert, officiating. Burial will be in Mtn. View Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will include, Phillip Saraceno Jr. Barry King, Ben King, Jamie King, Todd King & Nathaniel Glass; Honorary pallbearers, Chris Schultz, Ted Monroe, Chris King, Scott Butler & Dee Porch.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
