Emma Jean Parker – Obituary

Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Emma Jean Parker. Mrs. Parker gained her heavenly wings at the age of 82 on May 18, 2019 after a brief illness. She was a resident of Winchester, TN and a member of the Riva Lake Baptist Church. Jean loved to sing, sew and make jelly and preserves to give to friends and family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mamie Lee Summers Stubblefield and her father, Clyde Reuben Stubblefield; sister, Helen Penny; brothers, Donald Stubblefield, Clyde Stubblefield, Jr., Gary Stubblefield, James Stubblefield and Tommy Stubblefield. She is survived by her husband, Leon Parker of Winchester; son, Jeff (Kathy) Sims of Erie, PA; step-daughter, Dianna (Mike) Alsip of Spring Hill, TN.; step-son, Jerry (Donna) Young of Waxahachie, TX; sisters, Cathy (Randy) Cofer of Decherd, Pat (Millard) Bratton and Ruby (Earl) Berryhill of Winchester, TN.; brothers, Mike (Rhonda) Stubblefield of Winchester, TN and Ronnie Stubblefield of Decherd, TN.; grandchildren Jeffrey & Christina Sims, Ethan Young, April & David Parker and Ella & Otto Kuhnhenn; several nieces and nephews. The Parker family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home on Wednesday May 22, 2019 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with interment at Watson-North Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Stubblefield, Randy Cofer, Jay Penny, Cody Evans, Greg Garner and Austin Bradford. Online condolences may be sent to www.wasonnorth.com.
