Elvis Hollis Dickson of Michie, TN departed this life on September 30, 2016 in his home at the age of 80 Years, 27 Days. He was born September 3, 1936 in Henderson County, TN the son of the late Albert and Matilda McPeake Dickson. He was united in marriage to Barbara Evans Flatt on February 14, 2003. He was a retired Millwright worker.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Flatt Dickson of Michie, TN; three daughters, Rita Denton and husband Randall of Lexington, TN, Lola Hale of Memphis, TN, Betty Davis and husband Joe of Huron, TN; a son, Wayne Dickson and wife Tonya of Michie, TN; three stepdaughters, Jane Lambert, Linda Mitchelle, Maggie Hubanks; two stepsons, Dennis Flatt, Keith Flatt; a sister, Carol Tritt and husband Johnny of Bells, TN; two brothers, Faye Dickson of Wildersville, TN, Charles Dickson and wife Peggy of Huron, TN; ten grandchildren, Jessica Lester, Bryan Anderson and wife Jaime, Brandon Lester, Mallory Simko and husband Justin, Melissa Dixon and husband Charlie, Craig Davis and wife Jillian, Amber Freeman, Justin Dickson, Hannah Reynolds and husband Brandon, Whitney Dickson; a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Dickson was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Lois Burcham; two sisters, Ruby Redding, Nora Mae Fowler; a brother, Pete Dickson; a stepbrother, Charlie Webb.
