Elsie Elizabeth Taylor Moore, age 79, of Springfield, TN, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 1:00pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Steve Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sharon Cemetery with Craig Parrish, Charles Hutton, Lee Batey, Jeremy Parrish, Timothy Hutton, Jackie Sherrod, Clif Thorpe and Mark Pinkleton serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11am until the hour of service at 1:00pm.
Mrs. Moore was born April 25, 1942 in Springfield, TN to the late Bernice Frey and Viola Elizabeth Woodard Taylor. She worked as an administrator in the medical field and was a member at Grace Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Douglas Moore. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Teresa Carol and Craig Parrish and daughter Kimberly Jo Moore; grandchildren, Barbie Thorpe and Jeremy Moore; and great grandchildren, Stephen Thorpe, Lillian Thorpe and Garrett Thorpe.
