Elphia Haddock Belew, age 90, of Summertown, TN passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN. Born July 27, 1922 in Lauderdale County, Alabama, she was a faithful member of Chapel Grove Church of Christ for over 75 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Taylor Belew, her parents, William E. and Mattie Lee Dickey Haddock, two baby sisters, Mary Elizabeth and Lillian Ree Haddock, a baby brother, Emmitt Jason Haddock, a sister, Dora Lee Haddock Hulen, and two brothers, William Kay Haddock and Coolidge Haddock.
She is survived by her twin sister, Delphia Haddock Rawdon of Three Oaks, TN; her sister, Ruth Haddock Laws of Relivo, TN, and one sister-in-law, Marie Haddock of Summertown, TN. She is also survived by numerous special nieces and nephews, special great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews, a loving church family, and a host of friends.
