Eloise Wiginton Harbin, age 97, of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Eloise was born in Hackleburg, Alabama on March 16, 1927 to the late Archie and Marie Wiginton. Eloise is now reunited in heaven with her precious husband of 63 years, James Alvin Harbin; nine sisters- Lorene Ledbetter, Louise Edwards, Ruby Harbin, Jimmie Duncan, Clara Stephens, Sue Kilgore, Sarah McCool, Doris Whiteley and Peggy Green.
She was a long time resident of Childersburg, Alabama where she was a member of Childersburg, Alabama First Baptist Church and moved her membership to First Baptist Church of Meridianville, When she relocated to Hazel Green in 2014. She was surely blessed with her large beautiful family and it was obvious how much she loved them and they loved her.
Mrs. Harbin is survived by her children Gary Harbin and his wife Marquita and Phyllis Watson and her husband Phillip. Grandchildren Barry Harbin (Jamie), Dana Bailey (Lee), Whitney Murchison ( Aaron), Brent Watson (Kelly), Allison Henderson-Martin (Cody) and Lance Watson (Laryssa). Fifteen great grandchildren.
Brother: Lee Wiginton (Betty) and sister Becki Ledbetter.
Visitation for Eloise will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. The celebration of life service will be Friday, April 26, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Graveside Service will be Monday, April 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Green Hill Memorial Gardens, 7447 Old Sylacauga Hwy, Childersburg, AL.
