Eloise May Tichenor, born March 24, 1920, passed away peacefully on January 8, 1998, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.
Eloise lived a life rich in devotion to family and the simple joys that brought her happiness. She married the love of her life, Percy Tichenor, just prior to the outbreak of World War II, beginning a lifelong partnership grounded in love, resilience, and companionship. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, care, and enduring commitment.
She had a deep affection for animals and found great joy in their companionship. An avid cook, Eloise delighted family and friends alike with her meals, bringing people together around her table with generosity and heart. She also had a passion for traveling, embracing new places and experiences with curiosity and enthusiasm.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her nurturing nature, and the love she so freely gave. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Eloise was preceded in death by her father Frank Jameson and Edith Jameson-Hummel. She is survived by her beloved husband, Percy Tichenor; her son, Gordon Tichenor; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her spirit and the values she held dear.
