Elmer Junior Horne, 81, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, December 26, 2014, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Mr. Horne was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to church, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 28, at First Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Nick Stewart and Bro. Frank Wilson. Interment will follow in First Freewill Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jerry Hudson, Keith Bullard, Nathaniel Bullard, Gary Littlejohn, Phillip Stanley, and Michael Davis. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church on Sunday. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Lula Horne; two sons, Ricky Horne (Linda) and Billy Horne; two daughters, Marie Smith (Joey) and Barbara Page (Anthony); and one sister, Eugene Whitlock, all of Iuka; ten grandchildren, Josh Vandiver, Debbie Hyde, Sonja Smith, Todd Smith, Chris Horne, Joey Horne, Brandon Horne, James Horne, Steven Horne, and Michael Horne; and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Katie Marlar Horne; four brothers, Alton Horne, Buck Horne, Joe Horne, and Talmadge Horne; and a sister, Nelda Craig.
