Elma Jean (Dudley) Maynard, age 81 of Gurley, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 17, 2023. She was a member of Gurley Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanley Ray Maynard, parents; Samuel and Willie Bea Dudley, two brothers, Roy Dudley, Bill Dudley; one sister, Margie Lamons.
She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Maynard and wife Mary, and Gary Maynard; one daughter, Debbie Osmer and husband Brian; eight Grandchildren, Donna Pinkerton, and husband Tad, Anthony Maynard, and wife Ashley, Nick Maynard, and wife Megan, Kasey Byrd, Brean Maynard, Baylen Maynard, Tyler Maynard, and wife Bonnie and Katie Maynard; five great grandchildren, Alexis Easterling, Austin Maynard, Autumn Maynard, Alyssa Snyder and Jay Peacock; three great-great grandchildren Nick Maynard Jr, Clara Bella Maynard and Penny Maynard and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville where the family will receive friends Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Bro Joe Ventress officiating. Interment will follow at Green Valley Cemetery in Big Cove.
