Mr. Ellis Alton Sharp, age 85, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Cornelison Sharp; daughter, Debbie Ashburn (Mike); son, Tim Sharp (Gisella), grandchildren, Melissa Knight (Alex Worobec), Courtney Hales, Lydia Sharp, David Sharp, Mary Ellis Sharp; great-grandchild, Avery Hales; sisters, Shelby Gill, Gayla Bass (Ennis); brother, Donny Sharp (Janice).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Ruby Sharp; sister, Shirley Sharp.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Skyline Church of God with Rev. Mickey Skipper, and Tim Sharp officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home.
