Ellie Mae Curtis, 78 of Huntsville, AL living in Fayetteville, Tennessee died on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Huntsville Hospital.
Born Sunday, February 2, 1936 in Huntsville, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Allen McNeese and the late Annie Mae Durham McNeese. She loved being a mother and Nanny, and had been married to Carl Cecil Curtis for 51 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Junior McNeese and Billy McNeese, and sisters: Vivian Bearden, Ruby Nichols, and Jean Parker.
Surviving are her husband: Carl Cecil Curtis of Huntsville, Al but living in Fayetteville, TN, daughter, Kaye (George) Wagoner of Fayetteville, TN, sisters, Nina Harbin of Huntsville, AL, Jane Mastermonico of Huntsville, AL, Ann Turner of Charleston, SC and Judy Irvine of Huntsville, AL, grandsons: Christian Niemi and Cameron Niemi, both of Fayetteville, TN, and step-grandchildren: Kyle Wagoner, Ashley Wagoner, and Michelle (Mike) Alcantara, all of Fayetteville, TN.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 30, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. William Curtis officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
