Ellene Cutshall Nelson, 90, of Bartlett, TN and formerly of Iuka, MS, died Sunday, September 4, 2016, at Harbor View Rehab in Memphis. Mrs. Nelson was born in 1926 to the late Everett and Lois Lyle Dugger Cutshall and graduated from Iuka High School in 1944 and Valedictorian of her class. She was a Baptist and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Bartlett, TN. She enjoyed playing the piano and studying her Bible. Funeral services are scheduled 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Michael Blaylock. Visitation is scheduled for one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by one son, T.P. “Jack” Nelson (Lois) of Bartlett, TN; two daughters, Monta Earl Lind and Carolyn Densmore (Mike), both of Mountain Home, AR; two sisters, Sarah Blaylock and Nellie Jo Lewis of Ohio; one half sister, Dianne Cutshall Biddle (Rick) of Iuka; four grandchildren, Mona Kay Lind, Rebecca Flores, Benjamin Everett Nelson, and David Michael Lind; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. P. “Jack” Nelson; her sister, Jane Grisham; and her step mother, Maxine Cutshall.
