Ellen Elizabeth Murks Roberson, age 85, of Lexington, Ala., passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at home after an extended illness.
She was a native of Lauderdale County, Ala., a homemaker and a member of Lexington Church of God.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Darin Atkins will be officiating. Burial will follow in Moore Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Survivors are her husband, Orville Roberson, of Lexington; one son, Davide Roberson and wife, Wilda, of Lexington; one granddaugher, Melissa Roberson, of Lexington; one great-granddaughter, Brooke King, of Lexington; one sister, Viola Collier, of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Effie Murks.
