Graveside service for Ellen E. Letson will be Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at noon in Moulton Memory Gardens. A memorial wake will be held at her home, 1554 Riverbend Place SE in Decatur on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at 6 p.m.
Ellen was born Feb. 13, 1931 to Claudie William Letson and Delia Dorothy Wiley Letson. Ellen was an active member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Joe Wheeler Chapter 291. She was also a Rosie the Riveter and a member of Moulton Baptist Church.
Ellen is survived by her daughter, Faye Letson McWhorter; her son, Ray Letson; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joe Wheeler Chapter 291 Daughters of UDC will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Surrounded by the presence and the love of her children and grandchildren, Ellen journeyed to Heaven on Dec. 11, 2016.
