Funeral Service for Ellen Carolyn Lowery, age 77 of Cullman, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Hopewell Road Church of God, Hanceville, AL with Pastor Paul Rivers and Bro. Tim Dubberly officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the church prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms.Lowery passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 peacefully at her residence surrounded by family. She was born July 19, 1944 in Orangeburg, South Carolina to Warren Joseph and Annie Ellen Fields. She was a resident of Cullman County for 42 years. Ms. Lowery was a very active member of her church, and retired from a long career in retail.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Levoyd Lowery, parents, and brother, Roy Fields
Survivors include her daughter, Tonya Clark; son, Christopher Lowery; brother, W.J. Fields; sister, Mildred (John) Criddle; brother, Arthur (Chong) Fields; brother, Harvey (Janie) Fields; sister, Martha Gilliam; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
