Ellen A. Lamons, age 83, of Huntsville, died on Wednesday July 31, 2013.
Mrs. Lamons is preceded in death by her daughter, Faustine Lamons; her parents, Dave and Ethel Adkins; and 6 brothers and sisters. She was a loving and wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great grandmother.
Mrs. Lamons is survived by her children, Noraene Lemons and husband Jerry, Billy Lemons, Cherry Pullam and husband Gary, Helen Guthrie, Kathryn Woods, Marvin Lamons, Johnny Lamons, Fannie Martin and husband Steven, and Edgel Lamons; her sisters, Doris Belue, Vivian Conard, and Linda Meadows; her brothers, Edgel Adkins and David Adkins; 25 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be on Monday August 5, 2013 at 11 am at Valhalla Memory Gardens with burial to follow. Buddy Alverson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 4, 2013 from 6pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
