Ella Mae Montgomery, born October 25, 1936, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025 surrounded by love. She left this world holding the hand of the love of her life, a testament to the deep devotion that carried her through the years.
Ella’s greatest joy was her family, especially her children, Kendra, Bobby and Debbie, who will carry forward her strength and kindness. She will be remembered always for her warmth, grace and the love she so generously gave.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Memory Gardens. Bro. Joe Fowler will officiate.
Ella was preceded by her Parents-Harvey and Mary Griffith; Siblings-HC Griffith, Elzie Griffith, Kathleen Henslee and Ruth Colburn.
Ella’s survivors include her Husband of 73 years-Robert Montgomery; Children-Kendra (Gary) Woods, Bobby (Melissa) Montgomery, and Debbie (Gary) Henslee; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
