Elizabeth Pearl Bernard, age 82, formerly of Tuscumbia, died Saturday, September 5, 2015. Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, from 6-9 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Friday, September 11, at 11:00 a.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church. Greg Beasley will officiate. Interment will follow in New Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Bernard was born in Russellville to the late Edward and May Hooper Hester. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Bernard, along with seven brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Bernard is survived by sons, Jonathan Andrews (Vickie) and Timothy Plezia (Rosa).
Pallbearers include Pete Black, Jack Robison, Curtis Hester, Kendal Yard, Dale Head, Larry James, and Norman Hamm.
