Elizabeth Louise Davis, age 80, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016. Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will be Wednesday, at noon at the funeral home chapel with Jesse May officiating. Burial will be at Huff-Davis Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was a native of Colbert County and a member of the Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Montgomery Davis; daughter, Carolyn Christine Davis; three brothers; two sisters; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include sons, Frankie Davis Sr. (Star), David Davis (Faye), and Oneal Davis (Cathy); daughters, Kathy Blackstock (Todd), Kathryn Triplett (Jimmy), and Inez Nickels (Raymond); sisters, Gladys McNatt, Martha McNatt, and Pauline Musgrove; 23 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and so many more that called her grandmother.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank Justin and Rosa Triplett for helping us with Grandma. Also, special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and Laura Gann.
