Elizabeth Lewis Leopard – Obituary

Elizabeth Lewis Leopard age 82 of Tanner, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Leopard was born April 18, 1932 in Limestone County to Joseph O. Lewis and Tassie Smith Lewis.

Services will be Saturday, May 24, 2014 1:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Keith Turberville and Gary Enfinger officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 11:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Leopard was a member of First Baptist Church of Tanner.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Tassie Lewis; husband, James L. Leopard; daughter, Wander Tucker; sister, Nancy White; three brothers, Samuel Lewis, William Lewis and Roosevelt Lewis.

Survived by three daughters, Sandra Johnson and husband, Tommy of Tanner, AL, Sue Keenum and husband, Stanley of Trinity, AL, Anna Duren and husband, Doug of Athens, AL and Deb Smith who was like a daughter and husband, Ted of Madison, AL; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Flora Fowler of Decatur, AL and Edith Lauderdale of Athens, AL; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jason Keenum, Clint Johnson, Brandon Solomon, James Ball, Lance Cooper, Scott Connally, Jim Eberhart and Rod Hill.
