Elizabeth Kay Barnes passed away May 2, 2019. Kay’s beloved daughter Cristy Diane Moore passed away April 29, 2019. Kay and Cristy shared a special bond not only as mother and daughter but in many aspects of their lives. They shared an outrageous sense of humor, beautiful bright smiles and a love of music and dancing,. Both were amazing cooks and extremely creative. Kay worked as a CNA and Cristy was working on a degree in nursing. Both Kay and Cristy passed away from extended illness only days apart from one another. There is no bond stronger than the love of mother and daughter. A chapel service for both Kay and Cristy will be held a New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home in Dora on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive guests one hour prior to service time.
