Elizabeth Joan Moore, of Parrish, Al, went to be with the Lord on Friday October 28th, 2022, at the age of 68.
Joan was preceded in death by her sons, Shannon and Shane Moore; parents, Richard and Emma Burrough; mother and father in law Mirean and Ottis Moore; sister, Betty Simmons; brothers, Tim Burrough, Johnny Burrough and Jimmy Burrough; sisters-in-law, Sharon Hunt, Carolyn Moore, Brinda Moore and Shelby Jean Moore and brothers-in-law, David Moore and Ronald Moore.
Joan is survived by her husband of 52 years, Tim Moore; son, Timothy Jay Moore (Rebecca) ; sister, Jaimie Buzzbee; sisters-in-law, Betty Moore and Emily Gurganus(Phillip); brothers- in-law, Ned Moore(LaRae) and Terry Moore and a host of nieces and nephews.
Joan loved the Lord and was an active member of Dovertown Freewill Baptist Church for over 40 years. Joan also received a medal of achievement from The Joslin Diabetic Center for living with type 1 diabetes for over 60 years.
The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 5 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. A private family burial will follow on Monday.
