Graveside service for Elizabeth Jeroma Schrimsher Poole, age 83, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery, Huntsville. Her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home, Decatur.
Mrs. Poole, who died Thursday, December 25, 2014, at her residence, was born August 17, 1931, in Huntsville, to James Palmer Schrimsher and Alma O’Neil Schrimsher. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by one son, Josh Poole (Noelle) of Atlanta, GA; two daughters, Carol Hodgson (Billy) of Bay Minette, and Catherine Crosby (Michael) of Highlands, NC; one sister, Jean McGhee of Lindale, GA; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Hodgson, Will Hodgson (Shelby), and Arden Gray Poole; several nephews and nieces; and her best friend, Norene Mullican of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be family.
