Elizabeth Jean Potter, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at her residence.
Jean was a faithful member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was a loving Christian mother and grandmother who loved being outside and helping others.
The visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at Spry Memorial Chapel. Brother Bobby Amos and Brother Jerry Crowden will officiate the service. Burial will be at Old Bethel Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Phillip Gordon Potter; parents, Rufus and Versie Wood; and sister, Margaret Coan.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Hope Fuller (husband, Danny); son, Phillip Potter; grandchildren, Leah Fuller and Kyle Fuller; sister, Flora Mae Terry; and several nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers will Danny Fuller, Kyle Fuller, JJ Zeedar, Mitchell Jackson, Harry Gillespie, and Doug Hampton. The honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Smith, William Summers, Jimmy Summers, Corey Gillespie, and DeWayne Clement.
