Elizabeth Jaye McIntosh Toler Hamilton, known to her children as Mom, her grandchildren and anyone else as “Nan”, departed from her loving family on October 31st, 2021, at the age of 67. She was surrounded by her loved ones in her final hours.

Jaye was born in Scranton, PA, but lived in Huntsville, AL her entire life with her loving parents, Thomas and Elizabeth McIntosh.

To those that knew Jaye, she was love. She was strength. She was grace and beauty. Opinionated and at times sassy, she radiated love and kindness like no other. She never met a stranger. Those that met her were immediately greeted with a kind smile and the warmth of friendship. As her family grew, so too did her heart and affinity for love. This is why she was so beloved by so many. Her love was as infinite as the universe. Above all, in the last years she became known her for strength, character and work ethic. She always worked tirelessly to provide for her family and took with her that same tenacity in every day of her life. Her strength has been unmatched in the eyes of her family. She never let circumstances drag her down for too long. She would put her head down and do what she could to improve her situation or that of her family.

Jaye was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husbands, Paul Toler and Mike Hamilton. She is survived by her children, Stephanie Hall, TJ Toler (Kena Toler); her wonderful grandchildren, Brennen Hall, Brinleigh Hall, Ambrose Hamilton, Braylon and Isla Barnes, and Elijah Matthews, and her dog, Roseigh. She has a wealth of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that were family to her.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 3rd at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with the funeral immediately following in the chapel. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
