Funeral service for Elizabeth Harper Burney, 80, will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sidney McMinn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Crossroads Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burney died on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born December 31, 1940, in Georgia, to Johnny Harper and Beatrice Stevens Harper. She was employed by Golden Rod Boilers, prior to her retirement. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband: James Hillard Burney, two sons: David Michael Burney and Rodney Hillard Burney and her parents.
