Funeral service for Elizabeth Caroline Smith, 68, of Hartselle, will be Monday, October 28, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Gilley and Bro. Tom Campbell officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hartselle Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Smith died Friday, October 25, 2013, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born December 25, 1944, in Colbert County, to the late Luie Cagle and the late Josephine Manley Cagle. Mrs. Smith retired from Russell Forest Lumber Products where she was employed as a Secretary. She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Smith Jr; her parents; one son, Gregory Smith; one sister, Cassie Royer.
Survivors include her son, Anthony (Vikki) Smith of East Lawrence; three daughters, Angela Smith Morrow, Michelle Smith and Kristen (Brent) Griffith, all of Hartselle; one sister, Dot Thompson of Fairview; one brother-in-law, Arnold Royer of Decatur; three grandsons, Zachary Mullins of North Carolina, Brandson Smith and Matthew Smith of East Lawrence; one granddaughter, Ashley Mullins of Cullman; three great-granddaughters, Mattie Grace Mullins of North Carolina, Angel Lodge and Layla-Kate Griffith of Hartselle;
