Elizabeth Ann Moore, age 74 of Athens, AL passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Mrs. Moore was born on May 16, 1941 in Rogersville, AL. She was a member of Hobbs Street Church of Christ, and worked many years as an LPN at both Athens Limestone Hospital and several nursing homes.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Cleveland Walker and Vester Walker.
She is survived by one son, Kevin Moore (Deana) of Florence, AL, two grandchildren Molly Bennett(Heath) of Auburn, AL, and Landon Moore of Florence, AL, one brother, Bobby Walker (Pat) of Peoria, IL and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Moore will be Friday, April 8, 2016 at 12:00 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Charles Abernathy officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:45AM on Friday. Burial will be in the Roselawn Cemetery in Athens, AL.
Pall bearers will be Billy Anderson, Randy Blacklidge, Ray Hill, Ralph Blackwood, Dennis Walker, and John Floyd.
